Rodney Barlow

Rod is responsible for product and technology at Sidecar Health. In his role, Rod ensures Sidecar Health delivers on its ambition of more affordable, accessible health care for everyone in the US, through rapid delivery of high quality product and technology. Rod has more than 20 years’ experience building and leading world class product and technology teams who are passionate about creating value for customers.

Prior to joining Sidecar Health, Rod was Chief Technology Officer at Beautycounter where he increased delivery and quality, driving significant revenue growth. Prior to this as Chief Technology Officer at Aspiration, his teams unlocked numerous product and technology innovations while more than doubling the talent base. Prior to these roles, Rod was Senior Vice President at Ticketmaster, responsible for all consumer technology. In hiring and leading a team of more than 150 engineers at Ticketmaster, he drove significant delivery and quality improvements, broad system architecture and platform changes, as well as dramatic conversion rate and revenue increases.

Rod holds a Bachelor of IT, majoring in Software Engineering, from Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia. An Australian native, he is an active tennis player and golfer. During a two-year sabbatical starting in 2001, he traveled extensively through South and Central Asia.
