Natalie Leino
General Counsel
Natalie is the General Counsel of Sidecar Health, where she leads the legal and compliance teams and serves as a trusted advisor to the leadership team. She uses her deep knowledge of healthcare law and general corporate law to provide strategy and guidance to the organization.
Natalie most recently served as General Counsel of Carelon Behavioral Health, an Elevance Health subsidiary, which serves more than 60 million members nationwide. Natalie led the legal team, which provided guidance on a broad range of matters pertaining to the services offered by Carelon Behavioral Health, including with respect to commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid plans throughout the country. Prior to that, Natalie was a senior attorney at Point32Health and Tufts Health Plan, where she managed a team and advised leadership on a variety of subjects, including corporate governance and transactions, commercial product design and implementation, employee benefits, health insurance regulatory issues, and audits and investigations. She also provided primary legal support for the Point32Health Foundation and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute.
Before joining Tufts Health Plan, Natalie worked at the law firm of Covington & Burling and served as a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas P. Griesa of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Natalie received her bachelor of arts in government from Harvard College and her juris doctorate from Columbia Law School.
